great knife , it is very sharp and cuts well, I have cut veg and meat , cuts both with ease . I would say holding the knife at first has a slight differ to the feel of most knifes, but the weight and easy of cut you soon feel comfortable with.

The site where you buy the Huusk knives has a Canadian flag but charges are US dollars.The knives are shipped out of United States so customs add extra dollar charges..Be aware it can cost you more than you thought...no one tells you this. Bought the knife first and was very pleased so I wanted a sheath to protect it and bought one. I also was concerned about a good sharpening stone and lo and behold Huusk made one available. I’m so excited!

I’m so excited about these knives and kitchen shears. They are excellent and exactly as described. The knives are as sharp as described and very easy to use, I love the finger hole for extra control. They glide through food making cooking prep a breeze. My favorite purchase is the kitchen shears, they are the best, you can cut up a chicken with ease as well as anything else. I like the grabbers in the handle of the shears for opening small bottle caps or pulling wine corks, works great. I highly recommend these products.

I ordered one knife. the confirmation email indicated I ordered four. And was billed for four. I immediately contacted customer service, It took a while to get to a representative. They said they would check to see if the order had already gone to Shipping. Really? within 40 minutes of order being placed? it took that long to get through. About a week later I got four knives. I have contacted customer service several times. They say a ticket has been created. Twelve days later no response. Be Very carful, as I believe this is simply a scam to push more product. It took several months but Huusk did finally address this issue with a full refund and a free gift knife. I still don't know how or why the original circumstance occured, but they have provided an adequate resolution, so thank you to the Huusk customer service team.

The knife is as cool looking in person as it looks online. Only a couple negatives but for the price I can overlook them and I expected this level of quality. The scales on mine are a little loose, and the edges in the finger hole and top edges where your thumb goes are a bit sharp. Would be nice to have them rounded.

Looks to be a good quality knife but time will tell. You have to buy a case separately to protect the edge of the blade from getting banged around hitting the edge on everything if you keep it in your knife drawer. To bad it doesn't come in a case when you buy it to help protect it. I use and collect knives,it seems to be of good quality.

After sharpening them myself, the three are ready to send out. I loved the balance, shape and weight of the knife and the ease of handling it. I ordered one of these knives in early December. It has taken a while to arrive. It arrived in England 18th December, but the postal strikes put a stop to that. Anyone it finally arrived today. Now it could be that im easily pleased but I love it. Its really sharp, has some weight to it. Reading some of the reviews I was a bit worrried but so far I cannot find any fault with it.The only thing was trying to get in touch with Huusk the emails kept getting sent back to me or they couldnt find the address. But its here now so Im pleased.

I love the look of the knife. However it does take a little getting use to. I cut up lots of veggies and i could shave some really thin(shaved) slices of some smoked meat. It doesn't hold a edge that long i already had to sharpen it. Kinda disappointed about that . Definitely matches the price point.

UPDATE: Customer services have been corresponding with me since I wrote the review below. They have apologised and promised to look into the website ordering process. They also sent me, free of charge, the original knife I wanted. For this I am very grateful and love the knife. I am now changing the rating as the customer service was excellent, always speaking to the same named person who followed up with me on a regular basis. I ordered 1 knive, when I received the order confirmation, there was suddenly 4 items in the order. I emailed them explaining I did not want the extra 3 items, and they said it was too late to cancel the order although I contacted them immediately after this happened. They said they would give me a free gift, i.e. a cookery book. I said I did not want a free gift and I wasn’t willing to pay over 130€ for an item that should have cost me 40€. They apologised again and said once I received the order, I could return the items I don’t want at my own expense! They expect me to pay cash on delivery. This is not going to happen.

Terrible knife.....but still cool for the price

I brought this after watching the advert on Instagram. Claims in to be the sharpest knife ever etc etc. It really isn't anywhere close to that. The metal that's uses and the thickness off the blade, it will never be sharp even if I give it an edge with my sharpener. And the shape is soo impractical is kind of impossible to use for veg prep etc.However it's soo cool looking and feels great to hold. Like something out of game of thrones. I use it even though I've got much better knifes just because it's fun. Perfect for pizza

Traditional Japanese knife made in PCR

Sadly not quite what was looking for as made probably enmasse in PCR, using traditional Japanese methods, can't confirm or deny however didn't say was not made in Japan in all advertising. Disappointing start. After two meal preps, mostly veg of various textures and cooked chicken breasts I find the edge has dulled as pulling last batch of Tomatoes, have ordered a whetstone, which didnt expect to have too do so quickly. If sales material said mass produced in PCR or even just made in PCR would given it a swerve, HUUSK in name only?

We have super good Japanese Han d made knives in our kitchen this is for the camping box. Look for those expecting super Japanese handmade your going to be disappointed, but for 10% of the price its never going to happen.Sharp solid time will tell if it lasts but its ok what i expected for the price, not going to gush about it but its ok.

I ordered the knife full of anticipation. Very well presented in its presentation box. When ioprned it the knife was blunt. I decided that during mass manufacturing errors sometimes occur so I ordered a second and returned the first. When the second knife arrived it too was blunt so I returned that for a refund.

It just feels all wrong

I had high hopes for this, looked good with some very decent reviews, but, the weight of this is very odd, its all top handle and the entire blade when using feels 'off' its not easy to hold, its not comfortable and even chopping herbs feels so odd, the weight is in the pick up, you can't comfortably rock the blade across herbs, it just doesn't work like a normal kitchen knife.When I used this for a pepper, it was such hard work, the knife is steered by a weight that isn't correct for the shape, its all very strange and not much use.

Disappointing!!!

I had high expectations in regards to the Husk but they fell short. It's not design flaw or handling. It's the blade it self. After a week of use at home, not in a heavy duty kitchen, the knife after one week started showing spots of rust coming out of the polished metal edge knife. I'm not gonna say dull blade but not sharp with visible imperfections on the knife sharp edge. Very disappointing. May be just that I'm unlucky but still and it's an one off but the matter of the fact is that in my experience with this particular knife. Will be returning on my next day off…
